TRADE MARK APPLICATION IN INDIA<\/strong><\/p>

In India a foreign applicant can file Trademark registration for their mark either as an ordinary application or under Paris convention claiming priority from an application filed previously in a convention country. The deadline to file such an application is six months from the date of filing of such application in convention country.<\/p>

The classification of goods and services is based on the International Classification of goods and services under the Nice Agreement. It is to be noted that in case the Trademark includes foreign language character, then English translation\u00a0 \u00a0of\u00a0 \u00a0all\u00a0\u00a0 such\u00a0 \u00a0characters\u00a0 \u00a0would\u00a0 \u00a0be required to furnish in the Application.\u00a0\u00a0 Also, the description of goods\/services shall be specific and shall not include vague expression like “etc.” or “all other goods” or similar to these.<\/p>

– Certified copy of the Priority documents in case of conventional application<\/p>

– Power of Attorney in our favor<\/p>
